Since Kraft Foods, known as Mondelez now, acquired lot of chocolate factories on the World, information about producer or even country of origin disappeared on most of wrappers. Furthermore, before aquiring, most factories had own brands of chocolate which were known only in their countries, e.g. Figaro in Slovakia, Tibi in Hungary or Своге (Svoge) in Bulgaria. Now, chocolate bars with these brands are produced in different locations and it mostly depends on kind of chocolate, e.g. aerated chocolate bars are produced in Jankowice, Poland and thin chocolate bars with high percent of cocoa packed in cardboard wrapper are made in Halle, Belgium.

Although, much observant collectors noticed codes that are printed just right next to expiration date. It consits of three letters and tells where chocolate bar were produced. Do you need proof? Here you have part of Alpen Gold wrapper:
